A new era of inclusivity and empowerment in sports sponsorships.

RE/MAX Canada is thrilled to announce a partnership with the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) for their inaugural 2024 season, which runs from January 1-May 5, 2024. This collaboration marks a significant step in the continued commitment to promoting inclusivity and supporting women in professional sports.

An exciting leap for women’s ice hockey.

The Professional Women’s Hockey League aims to revolutionize women’s professional ice hockey. The league will feature teams from six cities: Boston, Minnesota, Montréal, New York, Ottawa and Toronto. It’s poised to unite more than 150 of the best female players from around the world, emphasizing its global reach.

Official Real Estate Agents of the PWHL

As part of this exciting partnership, RE/MAX Canada has secured the Intellectual Property rights to be the “Official Real Estate Agents of the PWHL,” consistent with the brand’s other major sport sponsorships.

The PWHL agreement includes exclusive marketing rights that will improve visibility and engagement with PWHL fans across the country, such as:
1. Rink Board Presence - A camera-visible rink board will feature the RE/MAX brand at every Toronto and Ottawa home game, ensuring exposure to viewers.
2. Broadcast Spots  - Engaging RE/MAX broadcast spots will run during games, driving brand consideration to a wider audience via Sportsnet, TSN and CBC.
3. Weekly Social Media Content - Leveraging the PWHL’s impressive social media presence, RE/MAX Canada will have a weekly feature on @pwhloffical.

Building on a legacy of support for women’s sports.

In 2023, RE/MAX Canada proudly sponsored the inaugural WNBA In Canada Game, a landmark event in women’s basketball. This collaboration with the PWHL is a natural progression in the brand’s efforts to be more intentional and inclusive with their advertising fund by supporting women’s professional sports.
